I also have exceptional pianist colleagues who can play with me to provide reception music (and/or for wedding ceremony). Often this blend is perfect for the social hour and dinner settings. A broad range of music literature available for flute and piano: baroque, classical, romantic, contemporary, popular, sacred, show tunes, movie themes, love songs, folk music, holiday (Christmas), dances, and jazz era selections. Classical flute selections with piano work well for recital settings: music series, senior center, church or community outreach. Solo Flute Unaccompanied flute music can be ideal for small, intimate settings.
